Description: Departure from Berlou by a nice steady climb, which never seems to stop. Alternating good and not so good tracks and tracks that are a little less good... You cross the Avants-Monts. From the Bacoulette pass, above Olargues, the slope reverses, a big and very fast descent. Good braking is recommended, beware of the 4x4s that regularly use the tracks. Numerous views over the Biterrois plain to the sea (the beaches of Vendres, Valras and Sète are clearly visible in good weather) and the Espinouse massif on the other side. At the end of this famous descent you cross the hamlet of Ceps with its typical narrow streets. Return to Berlou via a succession of small tarmac roads, tracks and vineyard paths. At the end, you have the opportunity to learn more about the vineyards of Berlou.
Discover on the way:
- Château des Albières ;
- Possibility to go to the belvedere of Naudech (360° view on the Caroux, the Jaur valley and the Orb valley);
- Saint-Chinianais vineyards;
