If you arrive from Mons la Trivalle the day before, the start from Colombères sur Orb by the Voie Verte will delight you. The small road, then the Voie Verte, takes you to Poujols sur Orb: it's flat! In Poujols, you leave the Voie Verte by a staircase that takes you through the village and to the town hall. Straight ahead is the suspension bridge, which takes you across the Orb. At the bridge on the right, and before Margal, the signposting heads south down the slope towards Les Trois Rouyre. The climb is dry. Near the Col des Aires, there is a small flat area where you can take a breather before reaching the plateau at 630m.
At Trois Rouyre, a wide track takes you to the road to Plaussenous.
